Bretta is AMAZING! If we did not hire her for our Month of Coordinator, we would have been super stressed out with everything! She was on it even before the month of our wedding, contacting our vendors and taking care of any hiccups with them. Calming me down during certain situations that occurred and giving her honest opinion when asked. She made a detailed timeline down to the last minute and made our day go smoothly by doing so! The month of she set up all of my decor from my guest book table to my memory table, seating charts, put napkins beautifully on all our tables. She even went and picked up lunch for myself and my bridal party. My fiancé could not stop saying how grateful he was for her and taking any stress off of my plate. She would have been our officiant too, but my fiancé already had asked his long time friend to officiate. But she helped him as well with getting our script organized and putting in what he forgot. I would recommend Bretta Thompson with Just the Two of Us Wedding Services to anyone looking for an officiant for their wedding. Before the wedding, we had a virtual meeting with Bretta to introduce ourselves to each other. She asked questions about how long of a ceremony we wanted, if we wanted to include a prayer, how we wanted to be introduced, etc. A few days later she sent a few possible scripts for the ceremony. Any one of them would have been great, but she allowed us to take pieces from each to create our own custom script. A few days before the wedding, Bretta checked in to confirm details. On the day, she arrived early with plenty of time before the ceremony. The ceremony was performed flawlessly. One small detail that made a huge difference – she stepped to the side for our first kiss as husband and wife so it’s just us in the photos. Bretta was very professional and pleasant to work with the entire process. She responded very quickly to all emails. I would highly recommend!
