Bretta is AMAZING! If we did not hire her for our Month of Coordinator, we would have been super stressed out with everything! She was on it even before the month of our wedding, contacting our vendors and taking care of any hiccups with them. Calming me down during certain situations that occurred and giving her honest opinion when asked. She made a detailed timeline down to the last minute and made our day go smoothly by doing so! The month of she set up all of my decor from my guest book table to my memory table, seating charts, put napkins beautifully on all our tables. She even went and picked up lunch for myself and my bridal party. My fiancé could not stop saying how grateful he was for her and taking any stress off of my plate. She would have been our officiant too, but my fiancé already had asked his long time friend to officiate. But she helped him as well with getting our script organized and putting in what he forgot. I would recommend Bretta Thompson with Just the Two of Us Wedding Services to anyone looking for an officiant for their wedding. Before the wedding, we had a virtual meeting with Bretta to introduce ourselves to each other. She asked questions about how long of a ceremony we wanted, if we wanted to include a prayer, how we wanted to be introduced, etc. A few days later she sent a few possible scripts for the ceremony. Any one of them would have been great, but she allowed us to take pieces from each to create our own custom script. A few days before the wedding, Bretta checked in to confirm details. On the day, she arrived early with plenty of time before the ceremony. The ceremony was performed flawlessly. One small detail that made a huge difference – she stepped to the side for our first kiss as husband and wife so it’s just us in the photos. Bretta was very professional and pleasant to work with the entire process. She responded very quickly to all emails. I would highly recommend!

Folktale Greenwood didn’t disappoint with the decor last night for 2 back to back Ceremonies!
Chuck and JoAnn exchanged vows in front of the fireplace surrounded by their family.
Then went to Revery for dinner after. I mean revery is literally a 30 second walk from Folktales front door so why not? Best Short rib IN THE STATE!
Our 2nd couple went ALL OUT! Cake! Coffee station. Dancing. Wedding! All in an hour. And they did a stellar job! They wanted a little privacy with pics to share with others before we post.
We also had an elopement ceremony downtown at the Indiana Statehouse. Shanaya was a stunning Bride!
This week was a busy one with over a dozen civil ceremonies and a wedding up North!
And we aren’t done yet!
It’s only Saturday folks!
Today we have a Wedding at Ivory Foundry Weddings & Events and a full day Coordination at The Sycamore at Mallow Run!

Tonight we hosted our 1st Holiday Elopement of the Season at Folktale! The tree is up, decor is in place and it was a beautiful ceremony for Paxton & Emily. They had seating for 10 guests, a full hour rental to not only have their ceremony …but take lots of photos with their photographer all over the venue. We love Holiday weddings!
