This beautiful plantation/colonial style property has history clear back to 1826!
Located at 243 S. Madison Ave in Greenwood, Indiana, this gorgeous property is now being restored to a venue that will accommodate any event. While focusing on weddings and micro weddings the venue will be able to host events such as anniversary parties, birthday parties, business luncheons, Bar/Bat Mitzvah’s, Bridal showers, Small Business Christmas parties, Workshops/luncheons for businesses, Networking seminars, Vendor open houses and much more!
Mark Henrichs, who owns Revery Restaurant in Downtown Greenwood, has a vision for this beautiful place. While many wanted to tear it down and start over Mark saw what this property has to offer and he respected and admired the history that the bones of this home carry. And It has GREAT Bones! It has a amazing story to tell and that story will continue to be told for generations to come.
The Restoration began back in 2021 and is still continuing. Mark is sparing NO expense and he wants ensure that every couple, client and visitor feels the attention to detail, care and quality that is being poured into this stunning venue.

Two ROOMS!
The Bridal suite will be on the 2nd floor and it’s a 2 room suite. That’s right! 2 ROOMS! It will have Salon style atmosphere for Brides and their bridal party to get their glam on! With beautiful chandeliers, lots of natural light, a jack and Jill bathroom, hardwood floors and much more, Brides are sure to feel the glamour and class in this beautiful suite!
The Grooms room is receiving Equal attention. With Leather seating, Large Screen TV, a bar, Poker table, Kegerator, hardwood floors, changing area, Video games and much more….the guys are sure to make a lot of amazing memories and feel like a part of the Rat Pack! Bourbon and cigars? Please and thank you!
With 3 staircases in the venue, there will be photos that will no doubt be magazine worthy. The front entrance and reception rooms have crystal chandeliers that boast over 300 crystals on each! The working fireplace and built in Cabinets can be decorated for any event. The options are endless and the color scheme of light, neutral colors with all these large, gorgeous windows will be shooting heaven for photographers and videographers.
There are approximately 53 Doors, 3 staircases, 6 bathrooms, custom window treatments and custom light fixtures, working fireplace, options for Bride’s to stay the night, AirBnB for off season, outdoor wedding and reception option for up to 500, over 40 Windows, 2 acres, options for Micro Weddings, Mid size weddings through LARGE Bring the town weddings, Folktale has the ability to make your event or wedding a show stopper!
Folktale also will offer services for couples with a onsite Wedding Planner/ Coordination/Officiant options provided by Just The Two of Us Wedding Services, 10 experienced officiants to choose from if you don’t have one, Custom Script Creation, a Wedding Day Manager option, On site Bar/Catering service option, a list of amazing Preferred/recommended vendors that are the cream of the crop. We also offer you the option to bring all of your own vendors.
Folktale will require all Couples to acquire Wedding Day insurance which is highly recommended for any wedding.
With Ample Free Parking, Big beautiful trees for shade for those outdoor events, local small businesses like breweries, bars, tattoo shops, barbers, Salon, yoga, jewelry makers…… this Venue is the perfect spot for any event!
