What A Year 2021 Turned Out To Be!
It was both amazing, busy, scary, frustrating, HAPPY, educational and I know sad for many. For those of you who experienced a loss, you have my deepest condolences. And I pray this year is a better one.
But here we are in 2022. I am keeping Faith that this year we will start to turn around and Hopefully, maybe, see a glimpse of 2019 start to return. I know we ALL miss the 2019 life style.
But, if you are reading this blog, then we have a lot to be grateful for.
I am grateful that my business of 10 years survived and I was able to continue to do what I LOVE, Be a part of a couple’s wedding day! I was a wedding planner for 8 weddings, A day of coordinator for 12 and we officiated 337 weddings. WHAT A YEAR! We also had 79 elopements, 67 no ceremony Marriages, and 8 Vow renewals. I added 4 additional Officiants to our team and I have a brand new website that I LOVE thanks to Circle City Digital. Isn’t it beautiful?
I also became a grandma again, TWICE! I added 2 more granddaughters and now have 7 grandkids! 5 Granddaughters and 2 grandsons. That is probably the best thing that happened all year. Happy, healthy babies!
This next series of blogs you will read is about Kayla and Andrew. Kayla and Andrew have hired me to be their Wedding Planner for their wedding in 2023. A lot of their family and friends live out of state and I thought it would be amazing if they could follow their journey of planning their wedding.
I Have known Kayla for almost 3 years now. She was my grandson’s swimming teacher and we fell in love with her Dog Watson! We had recently lost our dog in 2018 and she had just adopted Watson.
He would accompany her on trips here when she was teaching my grandson and I would play with Watson. Watson brought our wounded hearts back to life! He really did help heal our pain in so many ways. And of COURSE, Watson will be in the wedding. Watson will play a big role in the blog and in their lives.
So sit back, read and enjoy the story of Kayla and Andrew, and Watson and subscribe to my blog to follow this awesome couple and their journey!
